Curaclam na Scoile
Curaclam páiste-lárnach atá i bhfeidhm sa scoil, a aithníonn luach agus eagsúlacht gach páiste agus a chuireann ar a chumas forbairt iomlán an pháiste a chur chun cinn, mar dhuine agus mar bhall den sochaí.
Tá sí mar aidhm againn timpeallacht shuaimhneach a chrúthú ina ndéantar cúraim d’fhorbairt intleachtúil, fhisiciúil, chúlturtha, mhóralta, spioradálta, shóisialta agus mhothúchanach an pháiste. Tá comhoibriú, dea-bhéasaí agus dea-iompar riachtanach d’éifeacht na scoile agus d’fhorbairt agus dul chun cinn na bpáistí. Déantar dea-luachanna Críostúla a chothú.
Spreagtar páistí i ngach gnéith den chultúr gaelach; teanga, cluichí, ceol, damhsa agus traidisiúin.
School Curriculum
The Primary School curriculum is followed at the school. It is a child centred curriculum that recognises the value and individuality of each child and strives to enable the development of the whole child as an individual and within society.
It is our aim to create a caring happy environment where the intellectual, physical, cultural, moral, spiritual, social and emotional development of the child is developed. Co-operation, good manners and good behaviour are expected and are important for the development and progress of the children. Christian values are promoted.
The children are introduced to all aspects of Irish language and culture, games, music, dance and traditions.
